I was admitted to the bar in 1991. I took silk in 2009. Before that I was a solicitor and before that a paralegal.
As you may have gathered, I am very passionate about labradors: if the world was run by labbies we’d all be a lot happier.
I try to do anything I am offered, but I will not appear without an instructing solicitor.
My hourly and daily rates vary depending on the type of work and the client and are available from my clerk.
I will do “pro bono” work but I will (usually) need to be convinced that the client has merit on his her or its side and that they cannot afford to pay for my representation.
This site is merely a database of cases that I might need to find without undertaking a time wasting search. I have designed and built it myself, in part to understand the way the internet operates (hence the google ads on the front page – my attempt to understand how google runs the world).
The site is not an attempt to represent the law as it stands and it is not my intention to provide commentary on decisions. I hope you find it helpful. I do.
